The Flavors, Flora, and Fauna COLLECTION

Pieces in this collection feature a tasty flavor combination. The components are illustrated in their natural state (e.g., fruit, blossoms, and leaves) which are accompanied by beneficial insects and pollinators. An avian or mammalian component is included. Each component is intended to showcase the delicate balance of our ecosystem.

My medium of choice is colored pencils. I like this medium because I feel that it gives me the most precise control in placing my marks. My creative journey with colored pencils truly started in 2019. That was when I attended my first workshop taught by Cynthia Knox, CPSA. And then as they say, the rest is history.
I hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I enjoyed creating them.
